Well it has been a while. As with all good hobbies, things can get put aside in favor of other activities. I'm returning to the blog - not sure why totally - due to a tech impetus. Shelfari is a book-lover's social networking site - something I can get into, methinks. I'll add books from time to time and hopefully you'll get to check what I'm reading (if I'm reading).

It's hard to explain what reading means to me. It was a vehicle to get me where I wanted to go. I'll spare the sordid childhood details, but what I will say is that knowledge is my true, constant companion. And the only place I know to find it - is in the written word.
