Another year's gone, and it also marks the first year of this journal. It's not much of a journal: I don't write here to observe anything or to really mark anything. I put in random thoughts, mostly to say that I did something.
This notion that people would want to read something I wrote is still rather problematic to me.
However, being the digerati that I am, I have to participate in a medium that I'm not sure of still. Granted, I get the idea of personal publishing, but publishing intimacy?
Live Journal and its patrons -- I admit, I find their writings and participation very odd.
In another note: I started this site during the Tour de France last year, where Lance was very sick, but won his 5th TdF. It's been exciting and a real delight to watch him, his team, and the dynamics of the peloton for the last two weeks. There's only one more week to go: I'm still wearing my 'Livestrong' wristband, and I'm stuck on OLN's broadcasts along with www.dailypeloton.com and www.cyclingnews.com.
Maybe it'll get me to get on my bike (it's on its mag trainer) and ride!
